Shoot Diary - Day Three

On the third day of shooting we decided to film the narrative scenes. the shoot was split into two parts.

Part one of the shot was filmed inside of the academy grounds. It included an extreme long shot of an outdoor staircase, which panned across following me walking, close ups of my face, mid shots of me walking. There was a then a few shots of Hamza walking towards me which included a mid shot, and a long shot. And a close up our hands whilst the drug transaction takes place.

The second part of the shoot was situated around the back entrance of the academy. The first shot was a extreme long shot from the inside of a vehicle, following me to the camera, then there is a side mid/long shot of me going towards the camera, then there is a over the shoulder shot.

Shoot Diary - Day Two

The next part of our shoot was split into two parts. The first part of the day we filmed inside of a music room. There was five shots used. the first shot was of Giggs behind the glass of a music room, signing the song as if he was recording the song for the first time. The shot used was a mid shot. The second shot was a low angled shot which was again of Giggs behind the glass. But this time the shot included the Producer. The Low angled shot gave the impression that Giggs was more dominant and in power than the producer. The third Shot was a long shot of the studio's door, where the artist enters and walks into the producers room. the fourth shot was inside of the producers room, and it is a mid shot of the door where the artist enters and greets the producer. the Final shot was of the Recording sign illuminating and de-illuminating.

The second part of the day we filmed outside the main entrance of John Cabot academy, againgst an aging brick wall. We used three Shots a Front mid-shot of Giggs, a close up of Giggs and finally a low angled close shot of Giggs.

Shoot Diary - Day One

On day one of the shoot, the first location we went to was Oldbury court park. We arranged for a Range Rover to be used in the music video. SUV vehicles are commonly used in music videos as they are expensive and they look dominating. The first scene we filmed was B.O.B. getting picked up from outside his house in the vehicle and car driving of. We filmed the vehicle with an array of long shots of the vehicle and a range of tracking movements following the vehicle. the next scene we filmed was B.O.B. singing inside of the vehicle. B.O.B. was in the front passenger seat, and we decided to film him whilst the vehicle was in motion. The camera was situated in the rear. The song was being played from the speaker of an iPod touch which was placed next to the camera.

Scripts

Within the Music video the narrative will consist of the lyrics of the song by Giggs: Don't Go There Ft. B.O.B.

In the Video I will be playing B.O.B. So I will need to sing the Chorus of the Song. The Lyrics are as follows:
Well people gon be people ain't nobody gon change,
But we can keep it peaceful if we leave it the same,
If you don't go there, don't go there, don't go there,
No, don't go there,
Well people gon be people ain't nobody gon change,
But we can keep it peaceful if we leave it the same,
If you don't go there, don't go there, don't go there,
No, don't go there

The rest of the lyrics will be sung by Lakeem Douglas. He will be singing Verse one and two. The lyrics are as followed:
[Verse 1: Giggs]
